Quilts in Bloom
Enjoy the beauty of the fall season with artistic interpretations of colorful fall foliage, flowers, and grasses at this year's Quilts in Bloom: Fall Quilt and Flower Show. Featuring beautifully stitched art quilts by dozens of local quilters, including a one-of-a-kind kimono quilt, the event showcases a full spectrum of art quilt designs ranging from traditional botanical to original modern styles. Traditional fall plants such as mums, asters, cabbage, and kale complement the quilts while fall grasses sway as visitors walk by. Every plant is specially selected by Olbrich staff to coordinate with the decorative quilts.

Saddlebred Horse Show
This Futurity will return again to the Alliant Energy Center and showcase some of the best horsemanship in the area. There will be competitions in almost every class you can imagine including the Limited Breeders Stake on Sunday in which over $80,000 will be awarded! Also there will be UPHA "Pink Ribbon" Class - FIve-Gaited Ladies Championship, to promote the riding of show horses to help find a cure for breast cancer

Log Home and Timber Frame Show
Whether you want to build a log home or need advice on the log home you already have, this is a must see show for you! Hours for this show are: Fri, Noon-7pm, Sat, 10am - 6pm, and Sun, 10am - 4pm. A Seminar will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18th from 9am - 2pm. Cost for the seminar is $75 p. person, or $99 a couple and will include tickets to the show. Show tickets only are $15 per adult, 18 and under are free. Please see website for discounts and more information.
